make sure that your registry is ok. then dowload the latest patch from this site or blizzard website.

1. Open up regedit (start > run > regedit)
August 4th, 2009 at 3:21 am2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\
3. Create new key, name it ‘Warcraft III’ (without quotes)
4. On right side of new key entry, right click and create new string value
5. Name it ‘InstallPath’ (without quotes)
6. Change the value of InstallPath to wherever you installed it (example: ‘c:\warcraft 3\’)
7. Reinstall Warcraft 1.23 Patch. (this time your war3 will be installed without any errors)
8. Enjoy! your Warcraft is patched to 1.23.
I’m having problem with [ running war3 1.23 in Garena 1.23 room ]
the warning note say : need 1.23 version or above but i have 1.23 already . how to fix this ?

“hey peeps… i noe u guys are having troubles with the fixer. it creates the registry in a folder call “Diablo II”. fear not. this is wad i did to fixed it.
1. run the registry and select ur warcraft root folder. (…\Warcraft III)
2. copy everything inside …\Warcraft III\Diablo II and paste it on …\Warcraft III. copy n replace all.
3. Rename Warcraft III to Diablo II
4. Create a new folder called Warcraft III on the folder before ur ex-warcraft iii folder
5. Stash ur new Diablo II folder into the new Warcraft III folder.
6. Run the patcher. It should work.”
JUST DElETE DIABLO II FROM E:\Warcraft III/Diablo II

March 20th, 2009 at 7:45 amworks great, RoC disk became damaged, which meant a reinstall was impossible, so i had to copy&paste wc3 to externalHD when wiping comp, and copy back afterwards, forgot about registry though… simple tool, works though
