Hey guys pach 1.23a for warcraft III Release!!, The Warcraft III patch v1.23a has been released with little changes. The game’s can be updated automatically via Battle.net.

- Battle.net now uses a new banner ad system.
FIXES
- Fixed an exploit where an altered custom map would be seen identical to
the original custom map.
- Fixed an issue where some patches could not apply on Intel Macs.

i cant download patch 1.23 for dota

go to maps\download folder and move the ai maps to maps folder as strong said. i did it and i saw the ai maps and was able to play, so i can confirm that ai maps still work on 1.23

April 7th, 2009 at 7:45 pmin garena you have to have the same version as the server to be able to see it. ie if you have 1.23 the server must also be 1.23. if 1.20 theb server should be 1.20. in philippine servers most people use 1.20e so if you have upgraded to 1.22 or 1.23 you should download the warcrft 3 version changer to change your version to 1.20 1.21 1.22 or 1.23 whenever you need to

i think this is the reason why all dota ai maps doesnt work anymore, but its not only ai maps, als alot of my other favorite custom maps doesnt work anymore like, Starcraft zonecontrol 5.0.53
April 6th, 2009 at 4:49 amYou need to put the dota maps in directory C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Downloads
for it to work in GARENA. Hope this helps to solve some problems.
Is it true that the new patch doesn’t work with GG client? Haven’t tried it yet.

guys, i downloaded 1.23 and everything goes well. the only thing is , in Garena it doesn’t show all my DotA maps. i can copy into other folders and create games, however whenever i join games, i cannot enter, i keep getting out of the game automatically, pls help me!! thansk

I was facing a problem in WINDOWS Vista but managed to solve it.
I had a problem with the patch…It said something like” unable to access file…”
The problem was that windows didnt allow the patch to access and creat any file or modify anything else.
Solution:
