Hey guys pach 1.22 for warcraft III Release!!, The Warcraft III patch v1.22 has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps. The game’s can be updated automatically via Battle.net.
FEATURES 1.22
- There is now a replay auto-save feature in the options menu. Replays
are automatically saved to the “replay” folder.
- The game is now automatically saved in the event of a potential
disconnect. These saved games are placed in the “save” folder.
- Player color selection can now be limited by the number of players in
the game using an option in the “Advanced Options” screen during game
creation.
- Added an option to always show unit and building health bars.
- You can now enable and disable the display of minimap signals
from players and other observers using chat commands:
/showminimapsignals and /hideminimapsignals.
- Added a new in-game cheat “maxfps” to limit the maximum frame rate to
the given number. Example: “maxfps 30″ will set the maximum frame rate
to 30 FPS.
BALANCE CHANGES
HUMAN
- Scout Tower repair rate changed from 12 to 20.
- Knight damage increased: Attack cooldown changed from 1.50 to
1.40 and base damage increased from 25 to 28 (Average damage is 34).
UNDEAD
- Increased Ziggurat base armor from 1 to 5.
- Reduced the build time of the Necropolis from 120 to 100.
NIGHT ELF
- Reduce the Orb of venom poison duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Increase the experience gain from Dryads from Level 2 (40xp) to
Level 3 (60 xp).
FIXES
- The cooldown on unlimited usable items (example: the staff of
preservation) now persists after the item is dropped or traded.
- A cooldown exploit with potions has been fixed.
- When you unburrow a Crypt Fiend, its auto-cast will no longer be toggled
off.
- An exploit bug in which items could lose their cooldowns when transferred
between heroes has been fixed.
- Fixed DotA-specific sound effects on Intel Macs.
- Fixed sound falloff on Intel Macs. Distant sounds should now still be
audible.

Well, first you need Warcraft III The Frozen Throne 1.21b, READ: 1.21b!, ¿OK? 
1.- Download “Windows Installer 3.1″ Download, Install and restart you system.
2.- Download “Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package” Download, Install and restart you system.
3.- Download “Warcraft III Setup” (173 kb.) and unzip.
- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.
4.- Download “Patch Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.21b to 1.22a” (War3TFT_121b_122a_English.exe) Download Here or Download here, Install and Play!.

November 7th, 2008 at 3:45 pmHi guys, i backup warcraft3 to my external hdd, it worked fine. wen i reinstall windows and copy from the hdd. it ran 100% v1.22a, now recently it its giving a error of ‘failed to initialize war3, please reinstall’ can anyone help me, and if a patch 2 previous versions.. i cant change Resolution… wtf is goin on here.. pls help

November 6th, 2008 at 11:19 pmOK sometimes u guys get this error. Its an error that make u cant install the patch. SO im here to help!. OK, first go to start>RUN. Type regedit and after that, Go click HD_CURRENT_USER>SOfware>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft. When u at “warcraft” folder.. U just simply right click and click new>String value. After that rename it into InstallPath. And, u just right click to the “InstallPath”, and click Modify. Put your warcraft directory e.g: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III. and just install the patch and it will work like a charm!

October 28th, 2008 at 1:01 pmFor the people here that have problem with the sound thing it is because you probably turned the sound of warcraft off in the “options” tab, there is no way to bring it back, but you can simply reinstall and make sure the sound is checked and is working or at least on. You don’t need to hear anything as long as it says it is on. For those who can’t log in to battle.net it is because you have a pirated warcraft disc so the patch doesn’t change anything. So i have installed Reign Of Chaos (ROC) when i try to open it says “warcraft 3 was unable to find war3.exe”!!! Then nvm i dont care abotu that! Then i installed Frozen Throne!!When i tried to open it it says the same thing “warcraft 3 was unable to find war3.exe” so i follow Evil suggestion and download “Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries” then i try to open Frozen throne it now says “please make sure your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive , then click on Retry!” so , i inserted the disc again and i retry but it is still the same!!! (open war3.mpq in ur wc3 folder, in the regfixer)
run that and afterwards u shuld b able to install the patch
