Hey guys pach 1.22 for warcraft III Release!!, The Warcraft III patch v1.22 has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps. The game’s can be updated automatically via Battle.net.
FEATURES 1.22
- There is now a replay auto-save feature in the options menu. Replays
are automatically saved to the “replay” folder.
- The game is now automatically saved in the event of a potential
disconnect. These saved games are placed in the “save” folder.
- Player color selection can now be limited by the number of players in
the game using an option in the “Advanced Options” screen during game
creation.
- Added an option to always show unit and building health bars.
- You can now enable and disable the display of minimap signals
from players and other observers using chat commands:
/showminimapsignals and /hideminimapsignals.
- Added a new in-game cheat “maxfps” to limit the maximum frame rate to
the given number. Example: “maxfps 30″ will set the maximum frame rate
to 30 FPS.
BALANCE CHANGES
HUMAN
- Scout Tower repair rate changed from 12 to 20.
- Knight damage increased: Attack cooldown changed from 1.50 to
1.40 and base damage increased from 25 to 28 (Average damage is 34).
UNDEAD
- Increased Ziggurat base armor from 1 to 5.
- Reduced the build time of the Necropolis from 120 to 100.
NIGHT ELF
- Reduce the Orb of venom poison duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Increase the experience gain from Dryads from Level 2 (40xp) to
Level 3 (60 xp).
FIXES
- The cooldown on unlimited usable items (example: the staff of
preservation) now persists after the item is dropped or traded.
- A cooldown exploit with potions has been fixed.
- When you unburrow a Crypt Fiend, its auto-cast will no longer be toggled
off.
- An exploit bug in which items could lose their cooldowns when transferred
between heroes has been fixed.
- Fixed DotA-specific sound effects on Intel Macs.
- Fixed sound falloff on Intel Macs. Distant sounds should now still be
audible.

Well, first you need Warcraft III The Frozen Throne 1.21b, READ: 1.21b!, ¿OK? 
1.- Download “Windows Installer 3.1″ Download, Install and restart you system.
2.- Download “Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package” Download, Install and restart you system.
3.- Download “Warcraft III Setup” (173 kb.) and unzip.
- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.

I downloaded 1.22 and when launching war3.exe I get error “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”. Needless to say, I’ve uninstaled, reinstalled, and restarted my computer, but no luck. HELP!

Please make sure your game is correctly installed, and that your Frozen-Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, and try again” I’ve tried reinstalling it twice, wc3 itself seems to work until I patch it,the CD is great condition, and my CD drive seems to accept everything else I put into it without any qualms… Help anyone?

finaly i saw this site http://www.engamers.com n i followd the direction.
u no wa to do download these all 4 from this site and save them any where u want after downloading but one thing u must remember install the warcraft3 first and then install these 4 .
windows instaler dindt work in my computer i deleted bk .
first instal no 1 then no 2 the 3d doesnt work any way finaly instal and save the 4th 1 in warcraft folder where u instald it if it is default it is in c:program files/war 3.

First:..
Fully uninstall your wc3,
Then run the registry editor (type “regedit” without quote),
Find (Ctrl+f), and type in “war” (w/o quote) in the dialog box..
Then delete all mathing values that refers to warcraftIII, also delete all warcraft folder in program files and my document, save file/s that you want somewhere else offcourse,
After that restart your pc, REINSTALL WarcraftIII Reign Of Chaos, then Frozen Throne,
and after that, reapply patch 1.21b… It should refresh your wc3.. IT DO REALLY REALLY SHOULD..
If you find an error “could not find warcraft 3″ or whatever it is,..

For the illegal instruction to cpu, that was the patch bug, no solution is possible for ordinary people..

October 24th, 2008 at 12:13 pmFor the people here that have problem with the sound thing it is because you probably turned the sound of warcraft off in the “options” tab, there is no way to bring it back, but you can simply reinstall and make sure the sound is checked and is working or at least on. You don’t need to hear anything as long as it says it is on. For those who can’t log in to battle.net it is because you have a pirated warcraft disc so the patch doesn’t change anything. OK sometimes u guys get this error. Its an error that make u cant install the patch. SO im here to help!. OK, first go to start>RUN. Type regedit and after that, Go click HD_CURRENT_USER>SOfware>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft. When u at “warcraft” folder.. U just simply right click and click new>String value. After that rename it into InstallPath. And, u just right click to the “InstallPath”, and click Modify. Put your warcraft directory e.g: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III. and just install the patch and it will work like a charm!

to HKEY_CURRENT_USER and to SOFTWARE
then right click at SOFTWARE make NEW + KEY name it Blizzard Entertainment,
at Blizzard Ent right click make NEW + KEY name it Warcraft III and left click on it,
on the right window right click make NEW + STRING VALUE name it InstallPath,
double click on it, at value data type your warcraft program location, ex: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III Reign of Chaos
then run your patch, have nice try.

most garena users uses 1.21, and ppl with different version cant play together, if u just recently patched and wanna roll back, system restore works for me =)

For all those who downloaded through torrents, what i did was i copied the files from crack folder to warcraft III one by one. if there’s a dialogue box saying there’s already a copy there, then no need to replace it. after that, copy the file from the patch folder and paste to warcraft iii folder. after that, download the latest patch which is 1.22.. i was able to download it from this website. after that, copy paste it to warcraft III folder then double click it. the patch will install itself. then you can finally play. hope this becomes helpful

You need to copy the game.dll or the war3.exe

and then replace the game.dll with the one you copied
