Patch 1.24b (1.24.1.6374) for warcraft III Release!!.
FEATURES 1.24b (1.24.1.6374)
PC WORLD EDITOR CHANGES
- Increased max map file size from 4 MB to 8 MB.
- Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable.
- Added GetSpellTargetX and GetSpellTargetY natives.
- Added a new base handle type “Agent” of which many types now extend from.
- Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types.
- Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.
FIXES
- Fixed a few false positives caused by the “return bug” fix.
- Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting.
- “Shadowing” global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
- Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).

PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS:
I.- DotA Map Not Working? You need Download DotA Allstars 6.62 or latest version DotA 6.63 .
2.- DotA Ai Map Not Working? You need Download DotA 6.62 Ai or DotA 6.62b Ai .
3.- ERROR:
Registry error loading key ‘Warcraft III\InstallPath’
The system cannot find the file specified.
RESULT: Prepatch failed
Fix with Warcraft III Setup, read Installation.
4.- If you play warcraft on PvPGN Server (Private Server), Download: PvPGN Loader 1.24.
5.- Error Cannot find war3.exe: The game Warcraft 3 uses “Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries”, download Here:

INSTALLATION:
Update: Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (any version) to 1.24b (Patch 1.24b FULL).
1.- Download “Warcraft III Setup” (173 kb.) and unzip.
- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.
2.- Download “Patch Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.24b FULL (War3TFT_124b_English.exe), Install and Play!.
*NOTE: The game no longer requires the CD – NOCD – to play.
- If you have many files corrupted, uninstall Warcraft III completely. When that’s done, then re-install Warcraft 3: Reign Of Chaos, Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and upgrade with patch 1.24 FULL (War3TFT_124b_English.exe). This should fix your problem.

1.- Uninstall Warcraft III.
2.- Restart your system (Windows).
3.- Install warcraft III: Reign of chaos.
4.- Install warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

October 26th, 2009 at 3:48 amI can’t play other maps anymore.. I can only play dota 6.62 and 6.63 (AI or not).. And I’ve also tried pudge wars…
It won’t let me play “fight of characters” and other previous dota maps.. (But I’m not bothered about not playing other dota maps.. What I’m concerned of is “fight of characters”)..
Is there a way I can play “fight of characters” again?
please help..

- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.
2.- Download “Patch Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.24b FULL (War3TFT_124b_English.exe), Install and Play!.

October 6th, 2009 at 5:11 pmthen I was able to play Dota lan games with my friends. but after i restarted my computer. I’m not able to create any LAN games, when I press create, the game don’t create and just goes back to the LAN menu.
How can I fix that?
I installed it. I was able to play Dota for a while. then a day after, when I tried to play Dota again, the game doesn’t let me create game so that I can play A.I. After I click on create game, it just goes back to the Lan page.
