Hey guys pach 1.22 for warcraft III Release!!, The Warcraft III patch v1.22 has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps. The game’s can be updated automatically via Battle.net.

FEATURES 1.22

- There is now a replay auto-save feature in the options menu. Replays
are automatically saved to the “replay” folder.
- The game is now automatically saved in the event of a potential
disconnect. These saved games are placed in the “save” folder.
- Player color selection can now be limited by the number of players in
the game using an option in the “Advanced Options” screen during game
creation.
- Added an option to always show unit and building health bars.
- You can now enable and disable the display of minimap signals
from players and other observers using chat commands:
/showminimapsignals and /hideminimapsignals.
- Added a new in-game cheat “maxfps” to limit the maximum frame rate to
the given number. Example: “maxfps 30″ will set the maximum frame rate
to 30 FPS.

BALANCE CHANGES

HUMAN
- Scout Tower repair rate changed from 12 to 20.
- Knight damage increased: Attack cooldown changed from 1.50 to
1.40 and base damage increased from 25 to 28 (Average damage is 34).

UNDEAD
- Increased Ziggurat base armor from 1 to 5.
- Reduced the build time of the Necropolis from 120 to 100.

NIGHT ELF
- Reduce the Orb of venom poison duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Increase the experience gain from Dryads from Level 2 (40xp) to
Level 3 (60 xp).

FIXES

- The cooldown on unlimited usable items (example: the staff of
preservation) now persists after the item is dropped or traded.
- A cooldown exploit with potions has been fixed.
- When you unburrow a Crypt Fiend, its auto-cast will no longer be toggled
off.
- An exploit bug in which items could lose their cooldowns when transferred
between heroes has been fixed.
- Fixed DotA-specific sound effects on Intel Macs.
- Fixed sound falloff on Intel Macs. Distant sounds should now still be
audible.

Well, first you need Warcraft III The Frozen Throne 1.21b, READ: 1.21b!, ¿OK?

1.- Download “Windows Installer 3.1″ Download, Install and restart you system.

2.- Download “Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package” Download, Install and restart you system.

3.- Download “Warcraft III Setup” (173 kb.) and unzip.
- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.

4.- Download “Patch Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.21b to 1.22a” (War3TFT_121b_122a_English.exe) Download Here or Download here, Install and Play!.

*NOTE: 1.22 = 1.22a. The game no longer requires the CD (NO-CD) to play.

erm..i hav3e the same problem as marius did, this really sucked, its having alot error on installing the patch wartft and even the windows installer, now even that it says no cd detected when i had not needed to use the cd to play for so many months..

Just download this : http://files.filefront.com/War3RegFixerrar/;6479737;/fileinfo.html

(open war3.mpq in ur wc3 folder, in the regfixer)

run that and afterwards u shuld b able to install the patch

Thanks A Lot i was able to patch my frozen throne version to 1.22a without uninstalling and installing my warcraft and frozen thron, i used the 1.22a full, please bare in mind not to take granted the step 1 and 2 its is very important!!!, if you have a problem downloading War3TFT_122a_English.exe here is the link from blizzard http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21224, Hope it will work on you!

Only one of the four lines was actually needed by me, and I needed some more.

I paste the differences I needed to make below.
As you were taught above:
- copy the lines below into notepad
- save to desktop, file type “all files (*.*)”, file name war3fix.reg
- double-click the saved file
- dialog box will show up, confirm
- try playing
