Hey guys pach 1.22 for warcraft III Release!!, The Warcraft III patch v1.22 has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps. The game’s can be updated automatically via Battle.net.
FEATURES 1.22
- There is now a replay auto-save feature in the options menu. Replays
are automatically saved to the “replay” folder.
- The game is now automatically saved in the event of a potential
disconnect. These saved games are placed in the “save” folder.
- Player color selection can now be limited by the number of players in
the game using an option in the “Advanced Options” screen during game
creation.
- Added an option to always show unit and building health bars.
- You can now enable and disable the display of minimap signals
from players and other observers using chat commands:
/showminimapsignals and /hideminimapsignals.
- Added a new in-game cheat “maxfps” to limit the maximum frame rate to
the given number. Example: “maxfps 30″ will set the maximum frame rate
to 30 FPS.
BALANCE CHANGES
HUMAN
- Scout Tower repair rate changed from 12 to 20.
- Knight damage increased: Attack cooldown changed from 1.50 to
1.40 and base damage increased from 25 to 28 (Average damage is 34).
UNDEAD
- Increased Ziggurat base armor from 1 to 5.
- Reduced the build time of the Necropolis from 120 to 100.
NIGHT ELF
- Reduce the Orb of venom poison duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Increase the experience gain from Dryads from Level 2 (40xp) to
Level 3 (60 xp).
FIXES
- The cooldown on unlimited usable items (example: the staff of
preservation) now persists after the item is dropped or traded.
- A cooldown exploit with potions has been fixed.
- When you unburrow a Crypt Fiend, its auto-cast will no longer be toggled
off.
- An exploit bug in which items could lose their cooldowns when transferred
between heroes has been fixed.
- Fixed DotA-specific sound effects on Intel Macs.
- Fixed sound falloff on Intel Macs. Distant sounds should now still be
audible.

Well, first you need Warcraft III The Frozen Throne 1.21b, READ: 1.21b!, ¿OK?
1.- Download “Windows Installer 3.1″ Download, Install and restart you system.
2.- Download “Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package” Download, Install and restart you system.
3.- Download “Warcraft III Setup” (173 kb.) and unzip.
- Run “WC3Setup.exe”.
- Press “Start”, choose “Browse”, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III” by default), select the file “Frozen Throne.exe” and “Open” (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and “close”.
4.- Download “Patch Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne 1.21b to 1.22a” (War3TFT_121b_122a_English.exe) Download Here or Download here, Install and Play!.
*NOTE: 1.22 = 1.22a. The game no longer requires the CD (NO-CD) to play.

July 2nd, 2008 at 8:39 pmYea, everyone have this problem since patch have been release, day after Blizzard release the 1.22 in thought to fix it, but it still shows an error,they will understand whats wrong and they will do it fast as they can, you know…its Blizzard, so till then keep lookin for updates and find somthing eals to play mean while,

July 2nd, 2008 at 3:30 pmWell the new patch seems to have ass fucked wc3 :/, it worked well on the night before but since I installed the new patch I keep getting this load of bullshit n chips ; “Frozen Throne was unable to find War3.exe. Please make sure your game is correctly installed, and that your Frozen-Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, and try again” I’ve tried reinstalling it twice, wc3 itself seems to work until I patch it,the CD is great condition, and my CD drive seems to accept everything else I put into it without any qualms… Help anyone?

July 2nd, 2008 at 2:55 amSame here, after i upgrade from 1.21b to 1.22a, the system couldn’t find war3.exe, can’t run warcraft anymore, i tried uninstall and reinstall few times but is the same.
July 2nd, 2008 at 1:25 amI downloaded 1.22 and when launching war3.exe I get error “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”. Needless to say, I’ve uninstaled, reinstalled, and restarted my computer, but no luck. HELP!
